The Goyal Foundation and KERI, a registered Indian charity are the social services trust of The Goyal family of Kurukshetra, India.

Dr. J. B. Goyal, Ph.D. eminent academician and author, is the chairman of the trust.

The affairs of trust are managed by Sanjay Goyal, Ajay Goyal, Amit Karode & Richa Goyal-Karode.

The family has been contributing a portion of its earnings from various business activities to the trust and programme of scholarships, grants and small business support since 1993.

The foundation does not accept third party funding. 

The Goyal family come from the former principality of Chachrauli in north Indian plains. The princely state and its lands are blessed and fertile because of the great Yamuna rivers' descent into Indian plains here. It is a rich and plentiful land with mango orchards and paddy fields.

For centuries the distinguished family and its forefathers engaged in commerce and financial services to the principality.

Dr. J.B. Goyal was one of the first from the region to obtain highest education and then a doctorate in lieterature. Dr. Goyal is an eminet scholar on Sikh literature and has been honoured by hundreds of literary, social and government organizations for his work.

He married Pushpa Goyal whose family hailed from Lahore in Pakistan and had migrated to India at the time of partition of free India in 1947. Pushpa Goyal had earned a  Masters' degree with distinction in literarure and music and then did Doctorate in Hindi literature. The couple have spent their lives as University acedemics and authored over 30 books. They are both retired.

The extended Goyal family has continued commerce and now owns many industries. Other members of the family have served with distinction in the military, civil services and medical profession.
